A - House Rules
1. Be early. If you’re not early, you’re late.
Punctuality is paramount. Arriving fashionably late isn't part of the script here. Allow ample time for check-in, changing, and a comprehensive warm-up before the class overture. For those with more petite bladders, factor in a restroom break. Aim to grace us with your presence 5-10 minutes prior to the class curtain-raiser.
2. Check your ego at the door.
Park your ego at the entrance. Some high schooler somewhere is likely currently shattering your personal record as a warmup set.
3. Maintain order and Clean up.
After your workout, ensure a thorough cleanup. Clean up your sweat, blood and puke. We wish we didn’t have to say this, but don’t spit on our floor. Ever. Don’t chew gum, and really don’t spit gum on our floor. Collect and stow away your used items—tape, pens, notebooks, scraps, chalk, band-aids, water bottles, and sweaty attire. Follow the golden rule: Pack it in, pack it out. Return all equipment to its assigned place, put the bars in the racks, stack the plates in order —neatly.
4. Chalk remains in the chalk bucket.
Do not take the chalk on a Club tour. Don't use it as a makeshift art tool on the floor. While we're on the subject, save your artistic endeavors for pen-on-paper. No dry-erase on walls or lipstick messages on bathroom mirrors. We assumed these were self-evident, but evidently, they are not.
5. Respect our equipment.
Show some respect for our equipment. No dropping empty barbells, kettlebells, or dumbbells unless it's a matter of immediate safety. Our gear has a hefty price tag, and the more we have to replace, the more you'll be seeing on your invoice.
6. Speak up.
Bring things to our attention. If something's broken, the lights are out, or there's a shortage of toilet paper, alert us. We can't read minds, but we're experts at fixing problems.
7. Try hard. Effort earns respect.
Effort equals respect. Put in the work, maintain a positive attitude, and inspire those around you. Opt for optimism, have fun, and strive for improvement.
8. Challenge yourself.
The only way to get stronger is to increase the load. Strength comes from pushing boundaries. Aim to go a bit heavier and a tad faster each class while maintaining impeccable form. The phrase "I can't" has no place here.
9. Pay attention.
If someone calls you out, heed the advice. The spectator probably has a better view of your workout than you do—especially since they're not gasping for breath.
10. Attend class.
Newbies, stay consistent. Veterans, don't assume you can do your own thing whenever. Class exists for a reason—competition, unbiased challenges, and continuous coaching. Regardless of your experience level, there's always room for improvement.
11. Take ownership.
Respect your Club. Don't let anyone slide on things detrimental to them or the Club. Remind folks to clean up after themselves, and if you see something unsafe, step in.
B - Dogs, Kids, and Bikes
We adore your pets, children, and bikes! To maintain a safe, clean Club with enough workout space, please review these guidelines.
1. DOGS
While we love dogs, not everyone shares the sentiment. Be mindful that some are allergic to dog hair, saliva, etc. As a rule, don't bring your pet to the Club—our environment isn't ideal for them to chill. Barking, whining, jumping, or biting dogs are a strict no-no. On bad weather days, refrain from bringing your dog unless it's an emergency—we don't want a barbell falling on them. We reserve the right to kick out a disruptive dog, even mid-workout. If your dog leaves a mess, clean it up pronto with bleach-containing products. Foot the bill for professional cleaning if needed.
2. BABIES
Stroller-bound babies are welcome in class. Ensure your baby doesn't disrupt the class or pose safety risks. Park your stroller safely—maintain ample space between it and anyone lifting weights.
3. KIDS
Bring your child only if absolutely necessary. Out-of-stroller kids must be at least 5 years old to join a parent in the Club. If more than 12 athletes are present, kids should stay off the Club floor and away from equipment. With fewer than 12 athletes, kids can stay with their parent. Kids must not handle equipment unless their parent signed an under-18 waiver. Ensure your kid stays safe and out of the way, even during your workout. Coaches and front desk staff aren't babysitters—we reserve the right to ask you to take your child home if needed.
4. BIKES, SKATEBOARDS & SCOOTERS
Bikes have their place—outside the Club. We've got a spacious bike rack. Scooters and skateboards aren't Club material.
